Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 200 g tomato paste
  • 500 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes, and sauté until the garlic is golden brown.
Step 3
Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a few minutes until it thickens.
Step 4
Add the uncooked spaghetti to the skillet, breaking it in half if necessary to fit.
Step 5
Pour in the water and salt, and stir to combine.
Step 6
Increase the heat to high, and cook the spaghetti, stirring frequently, until the water is absorbed and the spaghetti is crispy and well-coated with the sauce.
Step 7
Serve immediately.
