Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 0.5 cup cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 lettuce
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 8 taco shells
  • 400 grams tofu
  • 2 tomato

Directions

Step 1
Drain and press the tofu to remove excess water, then crumble it into small pieces.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
Step 3
Add the bell pepper, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Add the crumbled tofu to the skillet and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the tofu is browned and crispy.
Step 5
Warm the taco shells according to package instructions.
Step 6
Assemble the tacos by filling each shell with the tofu mixture, and topping with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
Step 7
Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side.
