Ingredients

  • 1 tsp basil
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 200 g mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 100 g parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 ml tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.

Spread the cooked chicken and garlic in an even layer in a baking dish.
Step 6
Pour the tomato sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle with dried basil and oregano.
Step 7
Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.
Step 8
Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the cheese layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
