  • 300 grams all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 300 grams granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 60 grams sour cream
  • 170 grams unsalted butter
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Gradually blend in the dry ingredients, alternating with the sour cream, until well combined.
Step 5
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Step 6
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
