Ingredients

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 russet potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 steak

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Step 2
Cut the russet potatoes into thin fries and toss them in olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.

While the fries are baking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter.

Season the steaks with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the time for your preferred doneness.
Step 6
Add the minced garlic to the skillet in the last minute of cooking the steaks to infuse some flavor.

Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.

Sprinkle the fresh parsley over the fries once they are done.
