  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 60 ml cold water
  • 15 ml cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 30 ml honey
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 60 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, 1/4 cup water, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the cold water until fully dissolved.
Step 3
Add the cornstarch mixture to the soy sauce mixture and stir well.
Step 4
Use the marinade to coat your choice of meat or vegetables. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
