Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 480 ml chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 160 g frozen peas
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 onion
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Step 2
Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, frozen peas, onion, and potatoes.
Step 3
Pour in the cream of chicken soup and stir to combine.
Step 4
Season with garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Step 5
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Step 6
Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
Step 7
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Step 8
Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough, place the biscuits on top of the chicken mixture.

Cover and cook on high for an additional 1 hour or until the biscuits are golden and cooked through.
