60 g fresh basil leaves

2 garlic cloves

15 ml lemon juice

30 g nutritional yeast

60 ml olive oil

50 g pine nuts

1 tsp salt

30 ml water
Directions
Step 1
In a food processor, combine basil leaves, pine nuts, and garlic cloves. Pulse until finely chopped.
Step 2
Add nutritional yeast, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Pulse to combine.
Step 3
With the processor running, slowly add olive oil and water until the pesto reaches your desired consistency.
Step 4
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
