  • 4 barramundi fillets
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
Pat the barramundi fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the barramundi fillets to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Step 4
Flip the fillets and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
Step 5
Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.

Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.

Add the lemon juice and chopped parsley to the skillet and stir to combine.

Pour the lemon-butter sauce over the barramundi fillets and serve immediately.
