  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 60 ml red wine vinegar
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 1000 grams tri-tip beef
  • 30 ml Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, black pepper, oregano, basil, and thyme.
Step 2
Place the tri-tip beef in a large resealable plastic bag and pour in the marinade. Seal the bag and turn to coat the meat. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Step 3
Remove the tri-tip from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Step 4
Grill or roast the tri-tip to your desired level of doneness. Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving.
