Delicious and crispy cheese and potato rissoles, perfect as a snack or a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 150 g cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g flour
  • oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • pepper
  • 500 g potatoes
  • salt

Directions

Step 1
Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain and mash them.
Step 2
Mix the mashed potatoes with grated cheese, chopped onion, parsley, beaten egg, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
Shape the mixture into small patties or rissoles.
Step 4
Coat each rissole in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Step 6
Fry the rissoles in batches until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Step 7
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
