  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 chicken breast
  • 3 garlic clove
  • 1 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cups lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cups parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 300 grams pasta
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the lemon juice to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.

Slice the cooked chicken breasts and add them to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss to combine.

Garnish with lemon zest and chopped parsley before serving.
