Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 200 g canned tuna
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 400 g pasta
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250 ml tomato sauce

Directions

Step 1
Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 4
Stir in the canned tuna, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Add the tomato sauce and capers. Stir to combine.
Step 6
Season with salt and black pepper. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Toss the cooked pasta with the tuna sauce.
Step 8
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
