  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 cheese slices
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 900 grams ground beef
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 113 grams unsalted butter

Directions

Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
Step 2
Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Step 3
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Step 4
While the patties are cooking, spread the butter evenly on the inside of the burger buns.
Step 5
Toast the buttered buns on the skillet or grill until golden brown.
Step 6
Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, adding a slice of cheese if desired, and topping with the other half of the bun.
