Ingredients

  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 115 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 25 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 240 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Step 2
In a medium saucepan, bring water and butter to a rolling boil.
Step 3
Stir in flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
Step 4
Transfer the dough to a large mixing bowl. Allow it to cool slightly.
Step 5
Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Step 6
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Step 7
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.
Step 8
While puffs are baking, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract and sugar until stiff peaks form.
Step 9
Once puffs are cooled, cut in half and fill with the whipped cream mixture.
