Ingredients

  • 6 apples
  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 5 g cinnamon
  • 120 g flour
  • 1 g nutmeg
  • 120 g sugar
  • 60 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the apples, sugar, and brown sugar. Mix well.
Step 3
In another bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add the melted butter and mix until the mixture is crumbly.
Step 4
Place the apple mixture in a greased baking dish. Pour the water over the apples.
Step 5
Sprinkle the crumbly flour mixture evenly over the top of the apples.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
Step 7
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
