Ingredients

  • black pepper
  • 60 g butter
  • 100 g green onions
  • 240 ml milk
  • 900 g potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized pieces.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Step 3
While the potatoes are cooking, finely chop the green onions.
Step 4
Heat the milk in a saucepan, then add the green onions and simmer for a few minutes.
Step 5
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
Step 6
Mash the potatoes well, then add the butter and mix until melted.
Step 7
Stir in the milk and green onion mixture until smooth and creamy.
Step 8
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
