  • 300 grams carrot
  • 500 grams daikon radish
  • 240 ml rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 240 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Peel the daikon radish and carrot, then julienne them into thin strips.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine the rice vinegar, sugar, salt, and water. Stir until the sugar and salt are completely dissolved.
Step 3
Place the julienned daikon radish and carrot into a clean jar or container.
Step 4
Pour the vinegar mixture over the vegetables, making sure they are fully submerged.
Step 5
Cover the jar or container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. For best results, let it pickle overnight.
