  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 carrot
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 200 g cheddar cheese
  • 500 ml chicken broth
  • 500 g cooked turkey
  • 60 g flour
  • 150 g frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, celery, carrot, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are soft.

Stir in the flour and cook for another minute.

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
Step 5
Add the shredded turkey, frozen peas, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
