Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 pig's stomach
  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 g sausage
  • 500 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together the diced potatoes, sausage, and chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Stuff the pig’s stomach with the potato and sausage mixture, making sure it is firmly packed.
Step 4
Sew up the opening of the stomach or use skewers to close it securely.
Step 5
Place the stuffed stomach in a roasting pan and add water.
Step 6
Cover the pan with foil and bake for 2 hours.
Step 7
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes to brown the top.
Step 8
Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
