  • 30 g Dijon mustard
  • 500 g Italian sausage
  • 300 g old French bread
  • 240 ml sour cream
  • 120 ml white wine

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Slice the old French bread into thick pieces and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from heat and drain excess fat.

In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, white wine, and Dijon mustard. Mix well.

Layer the sliced French bread in a baking dish.

Top with the cooked sausage and pour the sour cream mixture over everything.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
