Ingredients

  • 6 black olives
  • 6 eggs
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • red food coloring
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon vinegar

Directions

Step 1
Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let sit for 12 minutes. Drain and cool in ice water.
Step 2
Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
Step 3
Mash the yolks with a fork and mix in the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, and salt until smooth.
Step 4
Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
Step 5
Cut the black olives into slices and place one slice on top of each filled egg half to resemble an eyeball.
Step 6
Use a toothpick dipped in red food coloring to draw veins on the egg whites, making them look like bloodshot eyes.
