  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 120 ml buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 60 ml milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 60 g unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a doughnut pan.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg.
Step 4
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Step 5
Spoon the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
Step 6
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the doughnuts comes out clean.
Step 7
Allow the doughnuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
