Step 1
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a couple of minutes.

Add pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add chicken pieces and cook until they are well coated with the masala.

Add yogurt and mix well. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Add garam masala and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
