  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 pound fresh tuna
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 nori sheets
  • 0.5 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 cups water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Step 2
Combine the rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Fold this mixture into the cooked rice and let it cool.
Step 4
In another bowl, combine the diced tuna, sriracha sauce, and mayonnaise. Mix well.
Step 5
Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread an even layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
Step 6
Place a line of the spicy tuna mixture, cucumber, and avocado slices along the bottom edge of the rice.
Step 7
Using the bamboo mat, roll the sushi tightly away from you, pressing gently to shape the roll.
Step 8
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of the roll.
Step 9
Slice the roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife.
Step 10
Repeat with the remaining nori sheets and fillings.
