  • 250 ml barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 kg pork ribs
  • 2 tbsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar to make the dry rub.
Step 3
Rub the dry mix evenly over the ribs, ensuring all sides are coated.
Step 4
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil.
Step 5
Roast the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulling away from the bone.
Step 6
Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil. Brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce.
Step 7
Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 10-15 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.
Step 8
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
