  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 ml cold water
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 150 g flour
  • 500 g green beans
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1000 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Wash and trim the green beans.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add cold water to the dry ingredients, stirring until you get a smooth batter.
Step 4
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C.
Step 5
Dip the green beans into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
Step 6
Carefully place the coated green beans into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 7
Remove the green beans from the oil and drain on paper towels.
