Ingredients

4 Servings
  • 150 g cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 2 green onion
  • 450 g ground pork
  • 30 gyoza wrappers
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 120 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a bowl, combine ground pork, cabbage, garlic, ginger, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Step 2
Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of a gyoza wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and press the edges together to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the gyoza in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Pour water into the skillet and cover with a lid. Steam the gyoza until the water has evaporated, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the lid and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the bottoms are crispy again. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
