Ingredients

  • 10 pieces basil leaves
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 pieces chicken breast
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese
  • 400 grams penne pasta
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 3
Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
Step 4
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 5
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Pour in the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.

Slice the cooked chicken breasts and add them to the marinara sauce.

Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.

Mix the cooked pasta with the marinara sauce and chicken.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese over the pasta.

Cover and let the cheese melt, about 5 minutes.

Garnish with chopped basil leaves and serve hot.
