  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 450 g linguine
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 g shrimp

Directions

Step 1
Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4
Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the cream thickens slightly.
Step 5
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Step 6
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce. Add the cooked linguine and toss to combine.
Step 7
