  • 8 slices challah bread
  • 4 eggs

  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 240 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

Dip each slice of challah bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.

Place the coated bread slices into the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Repeat with the remaining slices, adding more butter to the skillet as necessary.
