Directions
Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks and add the milk and melted butter. Mix well.

Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.

Preheat the Aebleskiver pan over medium heat and lightly grease each cup with vegetable oil.

Pour the batter into each cup, filling them about three-quarters full.

Cook until the edges start to pull away and the bottoms are golden brown, then use a skewer or chopstick to flip the Aebleskiver balls over.

Continue cooking until the other side is golden brown and the Aebleskiver are cooked through.

Remove from the pan and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter.
