Ingredients

  • 500 ml beef broth
  • 500 g beef tips
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 250 g egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Add beef tips and brown on all sides. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
Step 4
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Step 5
Sprinkle flour over the onions and garlic, stirring constantly to form a roux.
Step 6
Gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
Step 7
Return the beef tips to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 8
In a separate pot, cook egg noodles according to package instructions and drain.
Step 9
Add butter to the noodles and toss to coat.
Step 10
Serve the beef tips over the buttered noodles.
