Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 200 g breadcrumbs
  • 50 g butter
  • 250 ml chicken broth
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 4 pork cutlets
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 100 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Pound the pork cutlets to a 1/4 inch thickness.
Step 2
Season the cutlets with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Dredge each cutlet in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 5
Fry the breaded cutlets until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.

In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the onions until softened.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown.

Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well to combine.

Simmer the sauce until it thickens, about 10 minutes.

Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
