Ingredients

  • 45 grams brown sugar
  • 500 grams chicken thighs
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 3 green onions
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 15 ml sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 60 ml soy sauce

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, green onions, sesame seeds, and black pepper.
Step 2
Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and mix well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best results.
Step 3
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and caramelized.
Step 4
Serve hot with rice and garnish with additional green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
