Step 1
Wash and cut the apples into small pieces, including the peels and cores.

Place the apples in a large pot and add water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 30 minutes until the apples are soft.

Strain the apple mixture through a jelly bag or a fine mesh sieve to extract the juice. Measure the juice.

Return the juice to the pot and add sugar and lemon juice. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until it reaches the setting point (about 105°C or 220°F). This should take about 20-30 minutes.

Pour the hot jelly into sterilized jars, leaving a small gap at the top. Seal the jars and let them cool completely.
