  • 28 g butter
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 180 g long grain white rice
  • 960 ml milk
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Step 2
In the slow cooker, combine the rice, milk, sugar, butter, and cinnamon.
Step 3
Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
Step 4
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.
Step 5
Stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Mix well.
Step 6
Serve warm or chilled, optionally garnished with additional cinnamon or a dollop of whipped cream.
