Ingredients

  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 30 g butter
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 50 g cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g flour
  • 300 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
Step 2
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter to make the cinnamon filling. Transfer the mixture to a small plastic bag and snip the corner off.
Step 4
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray. Pour about 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the skillet.
Step 5
Pipe a swirl of the cinnamon mixture onto the pancake batter in the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
Step 6
To make the glaze, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 2 tbsp milk until smooth.
Step 7
Drizzle the glaze over the warm pancakes and serve immediately.
