  • 2 bell peppers
  • 240 grams biscuit mix
  • 225 grams cheddar cheese
  • 115 grams chopped green chiles
  • 400 grams diced tomatoes
  • 450 grams ground beef
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 120 grams mayonnaise
  • 1 onion
  • 240 grams sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 180 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 3
Add the chopped onion and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
Step 4
Stir in the diced tomatoes, chopped green chiles, and taco seasoning. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
In a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit mix and water. Spread the biscuit dough evenly in a greased baking dish.
Step 6
Spread the beef and vegetable mixture over the biscuit layer.
Step 7
In another bowl, mix the sour cream and mayonnaise. Spread this mixture over the beef layer.
Step 8
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Step 9
Add the sliced jalapeno on top of the cheese.
Step 10
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Step 11
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
