Ingredients

  • 50 grams brown sugar
  • 10 grams cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 30 ml honey
  • 30 ml rice vinegar
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 30 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
Step 2
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with water until smooth.
Step 4
Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan and stir well.
Step 5
Continue to cook over medium heat until the glaze has thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 6
Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using.
