  • 900 g chicken thighs
  • 60 g cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 2 green onions
  • 120 g mochiko flour
  • oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 50 g sugar

Directions

Step 1
Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine mochiko flour, cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, green onions, eggs, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds.
Step 3
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Step 4
Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
Step 5
Fry the marinated chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.
Step 6
Drain the fried chicken on paper towels and serve hot.
