  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 8 g baking powder
  • 6 g baking soda
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 115 g butter
  • 225 g cream cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 5 g ground cinnamon
  • 240 g powdered sugar
  • 425 g pumpkin puree
  • 1 g salt
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 120 ml vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Step 3
Add the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, and eggs to the dry ingredients. Beat until well blended.
Step 4
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Step 5
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
Step 6
For the frosting, beat together the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until well blended.
Step 7
Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled pumpkin bars. Cut into squares and serve.
