  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup carrot
  • 1 cup celery
  • 4 cup cheddar cheese
  • 4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup onion
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Step 1
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the chopped celery, carrots, and onions. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.

Stir in the flour and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the beer and milk, stirring constantly until well combined.

Slowly add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
