  • 3 green onions
  • 200 g konnyaku noodles
  • 100 ml mirin
  • 1 onion
  • 100 ml sake
  • 200 g shiitake mushrooms
  • 100 g shungiku
  • 120 ml soy sauce
  • 50 g sugar
  • 200 g tofu
  • 250 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Prepare all ingredients by slicing the beef, onion, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and green onions. Cut the shungiku and konnyaku noodles into manageable lengths.

In a large pot or skillet, combine the soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, and water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

Once the sauce is simmering, add the thinly sliced beef and cook until it begins to change color.

Add the sliced onion, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, green onions, shungiku, and konnyaku noodles to the pot.
