  • 185 g brown rice
  • 15 g cilantro
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 2 g salt
  • 480 ml water

Directions

Step 1
Rinse the brown rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Step 2
In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Step 3
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
Step 4
Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the lime juice, chopped cilantro, olive oil, and salt until well combined.
Step 6
Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for later use.
