Ingredients

  • 2 g black pepper
  • 1000 g clams
  • 15 g fresh parsley
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • 5 g salt
  • 240 ml white wine

Directions

Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
Step 4
Add the cleaned clams to the pot, cover, and steam until the clams open, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 5
Discard any clams that do not open.
Step 6
Stir in the lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.
Step 7
Serve the steamed clams with the broth in bowls, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
