  • 1 g black pepper
  • 450 g canned green chilies
  • 4 eggs
  • 60 g flour
  • 120 ml milk
  • 2 g paprika
  • 5 g salt
  • 250 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 250 g shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Directions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Step 3
Layer half of the green chilies on the bottom of the dish.
Step 4
Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the chilies.
Step 5
Layer the remaining chilies over the cheese.
Step 6
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
Step 7
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers in the baking dish.
Step 8
Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
