  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp cilantro
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 450 g ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tomato

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped jalapeno, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped cilantro.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in the skillet for about 1 minute or until slightly crispy.
