Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 400 g diced tomatoes
  • 200 g elbow macaroni
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 400 g kidney beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g tomato sauce
  • 500 ml water

Directions

Step 1
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4
Add the water and bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 5
Once boiling, add the elbow macaroni and reduce the heat to a simmer.
Step 6
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender, about 15 minutes.
