Ingredients

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 500 g bowtie pasta
  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 240 ml chicken broth
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250 g sausage

Directions

Step 1
Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add the sausage slices and cook until browned. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4
Add the chopped onion, garlic, and red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
Step 5
Return the chicken and sausage to the skillet. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Step 6
Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce is thickened.
Step 7
Season with salt and black pepper.
Step 8
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
Step 9
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
